Of the 42,690 temples that are of the public sect, 38,348 are of the Mahanikaya sect, 4,303 are of the Thammayut sect, 16 are of the Chinese sect and 23 are of the Annam sect. Of the 26,204 temples that have received royal permission for Visungkhamasima, 16,769 temples have not received royal permission for Visungkhamasima.
