Today (20 May 2025), Pol. Col. Thawee Sodsong, Minister of Justice, spoke about the case of the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and the Election Commission of Thailand (EC) preparing to issue summonses to 10 MPs of the Bhumjaithai Party to provide information on the case of collusion between senators. Has the DSI reported to the Minister of Justice that he has currently complied with the Constitutional Court’s order to stop performing his duties? Therefore, he believes that the DSI has reported to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, whose duty as a Minister has no part in interfering in the case. Since the court has not allowed him to temporarily supervise while waiting for the court’s decision, he will not interfere in the matter.
